The types of granite include amphibole granite, biotite granite, talc granite, electrical granite, black granite, muscovite granite, etc. The details are as follows:
1. Hornblende granite
The hornblende granite is a rock specimen collected from the north mountain of Shujigou, Hongtoushan Town, Qingyuan Manchu Autonomous County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province. Gray white, porphyritic structure, massive structure, mainly including 15% hornblende, 40% potassium feldspar, 20% plagioclase, and 25% quartz. Amphibole granite is a dark granite variety, suitable for all kinds of weather, so it is suitable for any purpose, the most common is as a building material.
2. Biotite granite
Biotite granite belongs to non-metallic ore, gray white, granite structure, massive structure. The main mineral composition is quartz, feldspar, biotite and hornblende. The biotite granite is light flesh red. The rock is composed of potassium feldspar, plagioclase, quartz and biotite. The accessory minerals include magnetite, sphene, zircon, apatite, etc. The rock mass intruded into the Nanyuan Formation, developed kaolinization, which was the product of the early Yanshan period, and formed a relatively strong gneissic structure due to compression. Biotite granite has many colors and is one of the granite widely used in architecture. It is hard in all granite, and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor.
3. Talc granite
Talc granite is one of the little-known forms of granite, because it cannot resist natural forces (wind, rain) well. This makes it not suitable for use as floor, table and outdoor, but only for decorative purposes.
4. Electric granite
Electric granite is a rock specimen collected in Japan. It is grayish white, with hypidiomorphic granular structure and massive structure. The main minerals are quartz, potassium feldspar and acid plagioclase. It is high-quality building stone. Electric granite has various colors, which are extremely rare except colorless and white. This granite type is ideal for places without much traffic, because it is soft for all types.
5. Black granite
Black granite is a kind of natural stone, with dirt resistance, acid resistance, abrasion resistance, compression resistance and insulation properties. In general, the pure black granite produced in Warrangal region has good color purity and hardness, and looks gorgeous after polishing, and can be preserved for a long time. The pure black granite produced in other places of origin, such as Darmapouli and Maitul in Tamil Nadu, Antura Pradesh and Kamman, and Kanakpura near Bangalore, is generally medium or high-grade.
6. Muscovite granite
Muscovite granite is mainly distributed in the areas of Damaofeng and Shituling. The rock is calcareous white, fine-grained and isomorphic granular mosaic structure, with occasional phenocrysts. The main rock-forming minerals that comprise the rock are alkaline feldspar, plagioclase, quartz, muscovite and biotite. The mineral crystallization characteristics of muscovite granite: the alkaline feldspar is mostly allomorphic, and a few are hypidiomorphic. The alkaline feldspar is mainly microcline with lattice twin, and the alkaline feldspar and striped feldspar without lattice twin are also seen.
